System Development

We offer a wide range of document solutions utilizing XML, SGML, and DITA-related technologies.

By leveraging the latest DTP software, we focus on building layout systems and developing plugins. We transform unstructured binary data into XML, SGML, and DITA, ensuring it becomes a valuable asset for organizations.

Converting data into XML, SGML, or DITA formats allows for secondary use of that data, enabling the generation of diverse outputs such as PDF, EPUB, and HTML from a single structured dataset. This also facilitates multilingual adaptations, including translation processes.

At MA-CREATE, we identify the necessary system architecture for our clients using various programming languages and build custom systems. Recently, we have developed systems such as…

automatic layout systems, content management systems, project management systems, e-learning systems, and proofreading support systems.

Automated Typesetting Using DITA-OT

We convert DITA data generated by upper systems into XML format that can be read by InDesign. Utilizing our developed InDesign plugin, we layout DITA data directly within InDesign (Structured InDesign Data).

Content Management System

We have created a system for managing manuals. The data is defined in DITA, XML, and HTML formats. When registering a new manual, we utilize tools such as CKEditor, Oxygen, and FrameMaker to input data in DITA, XML, and HTML. The entered data is converted on the server side and registered in the database. The registered data is instantly transformed into PDF using AH Formatter, InDesign, and FrameMaker, and is additionally converted into HTML content using XSLT, which is automatically uploaded to the designated web server.

Monthly Magazine Automated Typesetting System Development

Development of an automated typesetting and content management system for the rental information magazine “Sumou.” Utilizing Apache, MySQL, and PHP, we have established a content management system on our servers, allowing data entry operators to register content. Once the registration process is complete, users can download the typesetting data from the content management system and import it into InDesign installed on their client machines. The registered plugin modules in InDesign automatically handle the typesetting, generating the monthly magazine data. Additionally, the data stored on the server is used for the real estate information search page.
